Talentheads delivered tailored and bespoke shortlisting, interviewing and assessment courses supporting the team to confidently recruit and working with each of Reheat’s four values embedding them into every stage of the recruitment process.

Reheat is a leading North-East innovator, who provide consultancy and engineering solutions on sustainable and low carbon heat solutions both in the UK and internationally.

Based in rural Northumberland, they need to attract world leading talent to support their clients with their large and complex energy requirements through innovative consultancy services, projects and engineering solutions and training.

In Talentheads continued work with Reheat, who are proof of living their company values and recruiting in line with these, we have been working closely with the management team on embedding the internal recruitment process as well as providing them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to recruit.

We recently gathered the team together who represented a wide variety of management roles and specialisms from throughout the business for two half-day workshops delivered in-house at their Northumberland office.

Talentheads, working with each of Reheat’s four values (Powered by People, Different and Dynamic, Making Opportunities Meaningful, High Performance. Always) tailored and delivered our "The Contenders and Perfect Picks" workshops – that’s our shortlisting, interviewing and assessment courses.

We worked closely with the team spending time reviewing and looking through all stages of the recruitment process and how Reheat can embed their values during the shortlisting process right through to how they assess and deliver interviews.

We looked at innovative ways to assess candidates – from presentations to evidence portfolios and work-based tests as well as best practice for organising and running interviews.

We discussed what questions they should ask candidates and linking these back to their company values. Attendees also learned the importance of working as a team and how to give constructive feedback to candidates to embody the values.

After the training, the team felt more confident, inspired and ready to implement everything they had learned.

“Our values have been created by our team, for our team, and it’s incredibly important that we bring them to life at every opportunity. It means a great deal to us that the team at Talentheads understand this and were able to make it central to the interview training they provided for us. We are now better prepared across our recruitment process to embed our values and give prospective employees the best possible impression of our purpose and culture.”
