Talentheads partnered with a growing automotive business based in Stockton, supporting their recruitment campaigns for 6 roles. Strengthening and developing their business.

Riverside Commercial Services in Stockton are a growing automotive business who provide a high-quality service for their customers, responsible for maintaining and repairing customer vehicles, fleets and inspecting vehicles to VOSA standard.

Due to this growth, the team had little time to invest in recruitment. Needing talent, but not being able to invest in the necessary time and effort is where Talentheads came in.

Effectively working as their inhouse recruitment team and armed with an good understanding of the business, we were able to deliver full recruitment campaigns for the six identified roles within the business; Van Technician, Parts Advisor, Shift Supervisor, HGV Drivers along to Customer Service Advisor and Heath, Safety and Wellbeing Manager.

This included managing the attraction and selection, providing a great Riverside candidate experience and promotion of the employer brand.

Riverside were regularly updated throughout the campaign and fully involved in the shortlisting and interviewing. This successful partnership resulted in a number of appointments along with increased brand awareness across the region. Supporting the development and growth of the business.

Riverside have successfully hired 7 new employee's so far, gaining the right talent for their business, not just for now but for the future.

"Working with both Tracy and Lisa in such a busy growing business that had such a 'family' feel was fantastic to be part of. I could really see that allowing them to concentrate elsewhere whilst we picked up the recruitment activities really added value."

A talent acquisition strategy project leads Saggezza to becoming an Employer of Choice within the region.

Talentheads partnered with Saggezza undertaking a Recruitment and Employer Branding project to support the expansion plans and desire to become an Employer of choice within the North East.

Saggezza a proven technology and consulting partner delivering personalized, high-value solutions to accelerate business growth. Saggezza empowers organizations to unlock the power of enterprise data, uncover new opportunities and create innovative, operational cultures that help companies thrive.

Ensuring Saggezza meet the success of their business, they are looking to expand. In order to do this effectively, the right people, with the right approach and skillset are required to join the UK based team, in the Sunderland office.

To enable Saggezza to develop their recruitment action plan Talentheads embarked on researching, collating, collaborating with current employees, competitors, market, networks and recommending initiatives, actions and methods resulting in the delivery of a full strategy to Saggezza.

One area of focus was carrying out an Employer Proposition Session with current employees to understand the culture of Saggezza; the benefits of this allows the business to deliver the right message to market, understand their brand as a business and how to differentiate themselves from the crowd.

This was one aspect of a full talent acquisition research project to support Saggezza in their investment into their recruitment efforts to position themselves as an employer of choice within the North East.

When you know you only have a couple of roles to recruit for and they won’t be all time, Talentline provides the service to accommodate this!

Harvey & Hugo were on the lookout for a Business Development Manager for their new Pay as you go service , it is a specialist role in their PR Agency. Through Talentline Harvey and Hugo knew they were looking for support for their hiring process.

They knew the skills and expertise they were looking for in a candidate and being a PR Agency they knew exactly how to maximise social media to advertise the role out to market, but what they needed was specialist recruitment experience to manage the recruitment process and candidate journey on their behalf.

That’s were Talentheads stepped into support. We managed the candidate inbox, contacted the applicants, screened those candidates who met the criteria of the role and fed this back to the hiring manager. We even organised the interviews!

To wrap up the process we also managed candidate regrets.

The best part of Talentline is you can choose which part of the recruitment process you need support with and when you need it!

"I’ve loved working with Talentheads new Talentline service while recruiting my Pay-as-Hugo Manager. It wasn’t a straightforward role I was recruiting for but Sam helped identify and market the role correctly while identifying potential candidates. They made things easy for me and saved me a lot of time while delivering a quality service. Sam and her team are just fabulous and I highly recommend Talentline for all of your recruitment needs."

Talentheads launched by Sam Spoors in 2020, handled the recruitment for nutraceutical-company Vitabiotics, which turns over more than £300m annually.

Vitabiotics was founded in 1971 by Professor Kartar Lalvani and has been headed up by his son Tej, who starred on Dragons' Den between 2017 and 2021, for more than 20 years.

Talentheads partnered with the business as an extension to its internal recruitment team, filling a number of specialist roles.
Sam said: "While we're deeply proud of our North East roots and heritage, this partnership really proves that we're moving onwards and upwards with our strategy, working with large, multinational companies as well as our regional clients.

"I'm so pleased with the growth we have seen in less than three years, which has also included new offices, the rapid expansion of our team and plenty of exciting contract wins."

She added: "This contract demonstrates that we have grown from a local, North East, start-up business to a mature recruitment specialist that can help any firm, anywhere."

Tej Lalvani said: "Vitabiotics has an ongoing need for recruitment due to its rapid expansion and Talentheads was recommended to me in a shortlist of in-house recruitment options.

"We want to attract and retain the top talent, which is where Talentheads plays a significant role. From the get-go, the Talentheads team has felt like an extension of Vitabiotics."

Talentheads, working with each of Reheat’s four values (Powered by People, Different and Dynamic, Making Opportunities Meaningful, High Performance. Always) tailored and delivered our "The Contenders and Perfect Picks" workshops – that’s our shortlisting, interviewing and assessment courses.

We worked closely with the team spending time reviewing and looking through all stages of the recruitment process and how Reheat can embed their values during the shortlisting process right through to how they assess and deliver interviews.

We looked at innovative ways to assess candidates – from presentations to evidence portfolios and work-based tests as well as best practice for organising and running interviews.

We discussed what questions they should ask candidates and linking these back to their company values. Attendees also learned the importance of working as a team and how to give constructive feedback to candidates to embody the values.

After the training, the team felt more confident, inspired and ready to implement everything they had learned.

“Our values have been created by our team, for our team, and it’s incredibly important that we bring them to life at every opportunity. It means a great deal to us that the team at Talentheads understand this and were able to make it central to the interview training they provided for us. We are now better prepared across our recruitment process to embed our values and give prospective employees the best possible impression of our purpose and culture.”
