The Benefits of Flexible Working
Flexible working can be delivered in different ways but what are the benefits to the business and the employee

I’m a strong advocate of a flexible approach to working.
For me, having the ability to juggle home and work commitments is awesome and I’m so pleased working at Talentheads is able to offer me that opportunity.
From a recruitment perspective, I believe this is fundamental in supporting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion across our North East workforce.
Brilliant and hard-working individuals don’t all work 9-5 in an office or have the ability to, so if employers can adapt and support different ways of working then they will reap the benefits:
- Attracting great candidates
- Increasing productivity
- Improving employee engagement
- Cost effective for businesses
It’s not all about having caring responsibilities or working from home either, employee’s may want flexibility for a number of other reasons such as disabilities, stress reduction, travel costs, appointment scheduling, retirement planning, focus time, hobbies or a whole range of other commitments.
If we can learn to adapt and work smarter then we all get to thrive in life.
