I LOVE to support businesses and as a super proud Founder and Entrepreneur - recently winning the North East Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the year 2023 is a huge career highlight for me.

In 2023 I was also nominated for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards – Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year, having been a finalist in 2021 and 2022 also.

I have also successfully run three businesses and I am an active member in local business networks including North East Chamber of Commerce, Entrepreneurs Forum and Durham Executive Group. I thrive on creating and growing businesses with our company values of Brave, Community and Legacy. "

Lesley Gordon

I am an experienced recruitment strategist. With a 20+ year career focussed on people growth, with a focus on recruitment, workforce planning, training, leadership and management programs, employee engagment and transformational change programs within private and public sector.

At Talentheads not only am I client focussed, I support Talentheads growth through managing partnerships and Talentheads operations, marketing and communications strategy.

Kelly Sheldon

My role is focussed on proactive and dynamic executive support to Sam, our Founder. I also support Talentheads on project, implementations and updates key processes within Talentheads. With a background of 9 years in recruitment and 15 years in executive support and office management, Talentheads is my natural home!

Laura Barker

My career started out in recruitment consultancy before I specialised in managing internal recruitment and learning & development functions within a wide range of organisations from healthcare to education to politics. I am a qualified coach and experienced training facilitator with ICF accredited diplomas in Personal Performance Development and Corporate and Executive Coaching.

Judith Armatage

As Head of Research I play a pivotal role in informing and shaping Talentheads services including Talent Development and Recruitment. As the quality of the services we deliver depend on the finely tuned skills, experience and knowledge of our entire team ensuring they are continually fed with the latest data and findings is an important mission for me.

Other areas that come under my responsibility include People & Learning as well as Best Practice and Compliance.

Keeping myself updated on wider people related issues is critical, so I dedicate regular time to research – reading articles, conducting primary research and engaging with my network of experts! I’m also Principal Examiner for the Recruitment Employment Confederation which helps me keep my knowledge updated.

When I take my Talentheads hat off I love to spend time outdoors – walking with my dog in beautiful Northumberland , gardening (I’m on a mission to increase the biodiversity of my garden and grow more and more fruit and veg – with varying degrees of success), yoga (outdoors when the weather permits) and play badminton.

Macy Hindhaugh

I have a background in education, working as a teacher for 3 years, before starting a brief career in educational recruitment in 2024! My experience to date means I have great organisational skills and a passion for helping others- which is a perfect fit for Talentheads!

I love being part of the whole recruitment process, building relationships and helping clients to grow their teams! The dedication to our clients and focus on support and development here at Talentheads is what really drew me in! I love being part of a company that is proud of its values, and truly makes a difference to others’ lives.

Alison Jobson

I have been with Talentheads for nearly two years and not looked back! With over 22 years of recruitment experience, initially within agency, working with a within a range of sectors I have gained a vast amount of experience, which allows me to proactively work with our partners. Proud to be part of a Northumberland company with such ambition, positivity and community spirit which will result in inevitable growth.

Owen Potts

I am now approaching my third year into recruitment and loving every second! I have experience covering a diverse range of sectors including manufacturing, tech, hospitality and professional services to name a few. I absolutely love helping clients by sharing what I know, giving advice, and offering insights into the market.

It's so rewarding to assist them in finding the perfect candidates for their roles and making their recruitment process smooth and efficient. I absolutely love supporting our clients! Jonny Weetman

I’ve worked in Recruitment for 10 years with most of my experience within Internal Recruitment for a large Management Consultancy. The nature of my roles means that I have a range of experiences across various industries, with much of my experience being within Banking & Financial Services but I’ve also worked within Energy, Marketing, Operations and Contact Centre industries.

Since my previous experience has mainly been within a large corporate environment, I’m very excited to join the Talentheads team and be part of a local, growing and exciting business.

I have a background in design, working both in-house and externally for a variety of companies in employment and freelance roles. My experience to date provides me with a skillset which is appliable to a range of different projects- which is perfect for Talentheads because there are always exciting projects happening!

As Talentheads creative I am part of the Operations team, and I am responsible for a variety of different roles including social media content creation, photography, marketing and events, graphic design for both Talentheads and our clients and more, meaning there is never a dull moment! I joined Talentheads because I wanted to be part of something that was really making a difference to peoples lives, as well as being part of a company who cares and shares the same values as I do.
