Working alongside Cooplands’ People Director and senior team, we became their in-house recruitment partner for over two years. From day one, we focused on building a people-first recruitment strategy designed for long-term success – not short-term fixes.
This meant implementing the tools and infrastructure needed to support growth. We introduced a new Applicant Tracking System, created recruitment processes and templates, and worked side-by-side with internal stakeholders to develop national attraction strategies and shape employer brand messaging.
Throughout the partnership, we ran hiring manager listening sessions and delivered face-to-face recruitment training across Durham, Hull and Scarborough – embedding capability, confidence, and consistency across the business. Every decision was shaped by Cooplands’ culture, ambitions, and purpose.
